... the new "beirut" album. i bought it 5 or 6 days ago and have listened to nothing else since (thats a lie, i have also listened to some elliott smith, and some lectures i downloaded online). if you're not familiar with this band, just think the most magically tragic eastern european folk music played by some kid originally from new mexico - with full band: strings, uke, accordion, horns, etc etc. i love it. go here

i bought it on saturday, and am really enjoying it.
the first song that comes to mind when i think about the album this moment is la banlieue. i like that one. and all of them.
