i think i like it more than the getty. its free for students. its less crowded. parking isnt a huge hassel (and thats also free). and they had some great works of art. its not a huge museum, but im not the type who likes to spend a full day standing and looking at paintings anyway. even so, we didnt see everything, so we'll probably make another trip back there soon.
other than the handful of van goghs on display, i enjoyed the american war time posters from WWI and WWII:
