so i've been seeing a lot controversy over the new 2012 london olympic games logo.
most people apparently hate it. although the london olympic execs defend it and tony blair said : "When people see the new brand, we want them to be inspired to make a positive change in their life ".
i guess a logo that motivates people to change their lives is not too much to ask for when you spend £400,000 on it. people have signed petitions to get it changed. youtube has videos poking fun at it (i was trying to find the promo video that apparently caused epileptic seizures.) i even found this blog dedicated to hating it. personally, i am just fascinated by the negative hype. i don't think it's great (it reminds me of the flintstones for some reason) but its not that bad. i mean, when has there been an olympic logo thats actually been cool? answer: mexico city 1968.

I kind of like it... it reminds me of something that they would have put on a shirt in the 90's. Really, I just like it because it has so much pink. Everything is better when it's pink!
I really like that you blogged about this.
Personally, I love the logo...
I also love that you are aware of what the other greatest Olympic logo is...I am in agreement.
i think you should create a logo of your own, post it here, and submit it to that blog.
